I was told by a very good friend that long beards would drive the older women crazy. My curiosity was piqued by this suggestion. The beard itself took a short time to grow, but it came in very patchy at first. As weeks passed on I found myself with a beard that Willie Nelson would admire.

How do I feel about my beard? Generally I am very pleased with it. However, I do catch negative comments from others in passing. Not only friends and family, but even randoms and co-workers choose to display their disgust. I don't let this affect my passion for beard growth.
