I grew my beard because I like the appearance of beards and long hair on men. And while I can't grow nice straight long hair due to genetics, genes have blessed me with fast, thick growing facial hair for my age which is currently twenty-two. As my beard has thickened over the years, I have come to love the way it looks on me, especially when it is kept under control through trimmings every three to four weeks or so.

How do I feel about my beard? I just think it suits me, even if others may disagree. I believe that my beard has great potential, especially as it continues to thicken and speed up in growth. It's getting to the point that I'll have to soon shave twice a day, to keep my neck line in check! While I mention that I'm a "permanent" beard grower, I do have to shave at times for business and professional reasons, but then I can't wait to grow it back afterward!
