I grew my beard because I like the look of facial hair; like the feel of it... Materialistic and shallow people leave me alone when I'm bearded; I prefer it that way..I feel good character tells more of a story than bad character; and certainly means so much more than physical beauty or appearance. Because anybody can be beautiful; it's not much of an accomplishment.. Beauty does not make a woman; and a beard does not make a man, nor does his walk or his talk make him a man.. But good character makes a man; taking up your authority in Jesus Christ makes a man; being a lion in strength and authority as Jesus was, as he is; and being a lLamb in spirit and in heart; being considerate and understanding; patient and kind and loving.. Loving those who suffer, and those who hate you and persecute you; that's what makes a man; that's what makes a woman.. I just like the art of God; if he made me beardless; I would have embraced my beardlessness; I would have been proud about it.. Embrace how you were made. A beard is beautiful; yet not a golden heart...
