I've been intermittently bearded for several years -- I grew it first mostly because I wanted to see what I looked like with it. And as it turned out, I liked it. I thought it made me look more mature (I have a bit of a baby face underneath it), and also kind of scholarly and professorial. When I turned forty, I decided to keep it.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it -- the way it looks and the way it feels. It's pretty curly, so I have to keep it trimmed pretty short. Still, I love it and it's here to stay.
