I grew my beard because I've always loved beards. Vikings, pirates, bikers, tattoo artists, the hardcore scene, all these are things I love and they generally have a lot of beards. I've also tried so many different styles of facial hair and never really stuck with it long enough to grow any of them really long. So now I've finally decided to do so with the chin curtain, mainly because my mustache isn't very thick, and my beard is thickest and fullest along the jaw line.

How do I feel about my beard? I'm loving it so far. Really can't wait for it to grow longer, though. I want to grow it at least to mid-chest length. I do wish everything would fill in so I could go for the full beard, but I might have to wait some years for that. I also grow some wicked sideburns, which I'll put up some old pics of that.
