I started growing my beard at a very hard and sad time in my life. After a number of months, I felt more like the real me with the beard than without it. I have had a full beard on and off for a few years. But I feel I want to grow out my beard for good and leave it alone for many years. People these days think a man is not clean with a beard...but most people come off as fools these days, so who cares?

How do I feel about my beard? I feel good with it. I feel real and a far more natural man. I like the way my face looks with it than without it. I will never be without some form of a beard. I have had to change my job as a security officer. But I did not like being that clean cut, so it works out I get to be me.
