I grew my beard because I have always admired men with beards. I wanted to see what I look like. So many people don't like beards, it must be the right thing to do. And I like what I see in the mirror.

Four weeks now into my first beard, I love the feel of it on my face! I wish it were thicker, but I love it! I have some thin spots, but I think I'll fill that in with a least 6 weeks of growth. I love a grey beards, but at my age NO! So I'll color it.

I interact with lots of people every day, so it is amazing to see how different people will treat you with a beard. So far, I see it as being a very positive experince. If I can keep the one near to me from shaving it off in my sleep, I'll be a permanent grower.
