Bearded since: 1980. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

Comments:
I grew my beard because I hate to shave and, as soon as I was able, I grew my beard. I have kept it in some form or fashion ever since with the exception of a few brief periods when I succumbed to the temptation to shave it.

I generally like my beard and experiment with different lengths -- from stubble to moderate length -- but always keep it full.
