Well, I started this past October because it was getting cold and I never let my beard fully grow out. I saw several guys my age (mid-twenties) on my college campus with beards and thought I should try one out myself. I have not shaved since early October of 2007 and I love the look! Believe it or not, I've gotten compliments from ladies that claim, "it's really scruffy...I like it."

How do I feel about my beard? I really enjoy how different a beard can make your appearance alter from what you are originally used to seeing in the mirror. I feel more like a man with the beard and it has given me confidence in the way I can look either clean-shaven or bearded. This site also gave me great encouragement to proceed with this endeavor.
