Bearded since: 1980. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

I grew my beard initially for a purely practical reason: I hated shaving daily! Now I feel naked without it on the rare occasions when I have shaved it off, although I have always retained a mustache. I have grown my beard out full all over in the past, but now that it is almost completely gray I usually keep the sides trimmed shorter and leave some length in the front.

How do I feel about my beard? I love having a beard and appreciate other men who do so, too!
