Bearded since: 1976. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

This beard that I have now was grown because, when I broke my shoulder towards the end of 2005, I couldn't shave. My dad has most always had a beard and I've had one on and off for years. I've kept a beard several years at a time, then at times, I would grow it in the winter and shave it in the spring. I'll probably keep it this time since I'm involved in the Chariots Of Hope Motorcycle Ministry.

I like it a lot... It is perfect to fit in with the other bikers... A great conversation piece... My wife likes it and that is what matters most!
