Bearded since: 1984, at age eighteen. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower, when given the opportunity.

Comments:
I have always felt that a beard is the perfect frame for a man's face. Additionally, the beard, moustache, and hairy chest were the three things that I admired most. I felt that these three things exemplified what a man should be, and how he should be groomed.

I do love my beard and the pattern in which it grows. However, I do wish I could get it to behave a bit. Once it gets to that "in-between" stage, it starts to drive me crazy! I've never let it get very long, though. I'm sure that if I did and conditioned it properly, I would be happy with its progress.
