I have been growing a beard off and on since my freshman year in high school. I have always thought beards looked cool on other people, especially as they got older, but I have never made the commitment to growing year-round.

This time, I decided to grow a beard because my girlfriend's face was too often irritated by my stubble. I always liked the look of a shadow, so it wasn't a difficult transition to a full beard.

My beard makes me feel attractive. I hope to keep it around.
