I (re)grew my beard because I can't even imagine myself without one. I had a beard all the way through high school and only shaved it after I joined the military. After I left the service after four years, I found that my facial hair had, in the intervening time, become much fuller and coarser. So I decided to grow a full beard again. My cheeks haven't seen daylight since.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. It is a part of who I am. It is an extension of my face. I cannot picture myself without it.
