Why did I grow my beard? I used to be a switchman and working outside in the winter caused some brutal wind burn on my face. My solution was to grow a seasonal beard. I decided not to shave it off, though, since I liked it so much and got so many compliments.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard. Frankly, I am quite attached to it. I love it so much, I don't mind putting up with the small annoyances it causes during such activities as eating soup or cheesy Mexican food.
