I grew my beard because I liked the way it looked on Al Pacino in "Serpico." I worked with the goatee for a long time, and finally grew my beard out for my high school football playoffs (I didn't shave and we made it to the state championship). Now I'm in college and the beard is a part of who I am.

How do I feel about my beard? I think I am blessed to have one. My dad has the ability to grow a thick one. So any short-comings I have on the side should be filled in when I'm 30 or so.
