Since I was a little child, I have had big dreams of having a beard. I've had facial hair since high school but it has never been anything all that serious. This recent summer I was challenged by a friend to a facial hair contest to see who could go the longest without shaving. Already having a few week's scruff, I decided to accept the challenge. Needless to say, I was victorious and have not looked back since.

How do I feel about my beard? It's everything I could have ever hoped for and more. I never knew the kind of beard I could grow, but after having done so I see absolutely no reason to get rid of it. Every time I look in a mirror there is an awesome feeling of joy and manliness that is like having a machine gun shootout while riding a motor cycle with a scantily-clad Sofia Vergara seated behind me, with buildings exploding in the background. Having a beard is more action packed and awesome than a Michael Bay movie with the added benefit that it is not terrible.
