I grew a beard because I wanted to look more mature and masculine. I wanted a more masculine look because I have baby face features, however I have a decent strong jawline. Allah has gifted me with the ability to grow a beard and I thought there is a reason behind this. I was tired of shaving and the effeminate look it results in and so I stuck to growing a beard.

How do I feel about my beard? I feel happy about my beard because it enhances my appearance and makes me look more masculine. I can grow a decent mustache and goatee, but the rest of the beard is thin and wispy. However, I still love the look of the whole beard even though I may have thin cheek hairs, because it instantly makes me look manly and dangerous (in a good way). I believe every male capable of growing a beard should do so because it WILL improve their appearance despite media views and the views of men and women in society.
