I grew my beard because I wanted to be just as my heart is: Norse. Unfortunately today I shaved my beard. But then I found this site. I vow to never shave my beard again. You have a Viking's oath.

I grew my beard because I didn't want to be like the rest of my family and beardless. Even though I have a slight split in the middle of my chin (due to Indian roots) I will continue to grow it. If the beard does not grow in the split, then I will make a warrior's beard out of it.

How do I feel about my beard? I love having a beard. Whenever I do, I feel so much pride and so much joy. I am sometimes told that I look sexy by women who like beards.. Other times I get scowls by both men and women. This will not discourage me.
