I have grown beards off and on for twenty years but have never kept one past a couple months. August 31, 2010 I felt compelled to put down the razor. I had set a goal of at least six months but have since changed that to a full year.

How do I feel about my beard? I absolutely love my beard. I'm a phone man in the Midwest and our winter seasons can be brutal at times. My beard keeps my face nice and warm. It also gives me a masculine sense of pride to wear a beard like I've never felt before like I did while being clean shaven.
