I've had some form of facial hair nonstop for twelve years, but I grew my full beard because it's the very essence of manhood. Shaving always seemed like unnatural torture. A shaved face is what it is, what you see is what you get, but facial hair gives many options. (These photos are just over three months of growth and I experimented with curling my mustache a bit.)

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard. It adds to the feeling of masculinity and, with each man's beard being unique, it brings out the individual machismo. I still hope it fills out some more, but I love what I have. A razor will never touch my face again -- maybe a trimmer, but never again a razor.
