Bearded since: 2007. I am an experimental beard grower.

I grew my beard because recently, after an extended period without shaving, it occurred to me that it had been a number of months since I had sported a modest goatee.

How do I feel about my beard? Though I always feel more confident when showing my age with a beard variation of some sort, I have many complaints about the overall beard,
including the fact that the lower beard, or goatee, comes in rather red, in strange conflict with my dark blond hair and the rest of my beard.

Additionally, I have many difficulties with the growing of a proper mustache.
