I grew my beard because it adds character to an otherwise boring face and makes you appear a bit more older and mature. Also, it helps because I work security at a bar/concert hall and it makes me look older, because you don't see an 18 year-old bouncer too often.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it, but trimming is a pain in the neck because it only takes one misplaced cut to damage a good beard. I try to keep my whiskers no longer than half an inch, so my beard can be fragile concerning trimming and cutting lines.
