Retired Marine. Tired of shaving. It grows there naturally and cutting is the unnatural act. It protects my face while riding my Harley. Rain, bugs and sun are repelled with a beard. In the winter face and neck are protected. I like the way people respond to a bearded man the world over.

How do I feel about my beard? Love having it. Grew my first for 40 months and shaved it all clean off. For a reason, I thought. Now, it's been 36 months and I doubt I'll ever shave again. I braid my beard to maintain control of it and protect it some from breaking off.
