Why did I grow my beard? My first decade as a paramedic, policy would not allow a beard. After I went to work for a hospital, the first thing I did was start growing.

How do I feel about my beard? I've shaved and restarted on a whim a time or nine. But until the day I'm told I can't have it, this one is here to stay.
