Why did I grow my beard? I was able to grow facial hair until I was almost eighteen. Then I joined the National Guard. Soldiers are not allowed to have facial hair because of the protective masks we have to wear sometimes not being able to seal properly. So after being in the Army for seven years, I'm finally out and finally able to start growing my first beard. I'm never working in a place that requires me to shave again!

How do I feel about my beard? Love every single hair!
