I grew my beard because I never had... Wanted to see if I could and what I would look like. I have had a beard of one type or another for most of my adult life, but had never grown a full beard.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it. I am a pastor and expected more negative feedback than I received. Most comments were from other guys who were intrigued about growing a beard but haven't yet had the determination or courage to do so. There seems to be some "fashion pressure" about not growing past scruff. But once I pushed back against those comments, all has seemed well. I am still playing with the length, seeing what I like best. But the whole process has been enjoyable.
