Bearded since: 2005. I am an experimental beard grower.

I first grew a beard because I'm interested in the Viking age...interested to the point that I portray a Dublin viking in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). I grew it to fit my persona.

It's not as full as I'd like, really. But I've been told that's from some of the Irish/Scots ancestry...don't know how true that is. Anyway I think it looks pretty swell.
