Bearded since: 1980. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

I had a "foomanchoo" mustache and worked with a group of about thirty guys, with the majority having beards (we were butlers at the Playboy Mansion). A few had blank spots in their beards, but I knew mine would grow in full. So I let the "foomanchoo" grow into a beard. Did cut in down to a goatee in the late 1990s, but finally let it grow back to a full beard.

How do I feel about my beard? In the beach community were I live, I don't see many guys with beards. Sure wouldn't want to be shaving daily or twice a day if going out.
