I grew my beard because everything that I believed to be true in my life slowly unraveled over the course of a few months and I needed the constancy of facial hair.

How do I feel about my beard? Torn. My beard as it exists in its current state, is simply the absence of shaving. Though my beard's beginnings were with justified motivations, it is for those same reasons I want to shave it off.
