Bearded since: around 1988. I am an experimental beard grower.

I've wanted to grow a full long beard for a while, but I'm a flake. I generally experiment with various goatees and handlebar combos and usually change my look every month or three. In my family, beards are a tradition. My grandfather wears an exceptional beard and for years had a double curl in his handlebars. My father spent time as a hippie freak with an Afro and year's worth of beard and even my uncle had a pretty full beard by eighteen.

How do I feel about my beard? My beard drives me NUTZ! There is a small section right next to the corners of the lips that doesn't grow and prevents me from wearing a lot of large mustachio styles. There's also asymmetry, which makes it hard to keep even looking (also around the corners of the mouth). On the positive side, it does grow quickly and is fairly soft with minimal care.
