I grew my beard because I think that facial hair symbolizes something profound: When I see a bearded man, I am overcome with emotion. In the beginning growing the beard was an experiment, but now I realize that it is a way of life.

How do I feel about my beard? Now that I have a beard, I feel as if it is a part of my soul. I conceptualize it in such a way that the growth of hair on my face is analogous to the beautiful blossoming growth I see in the nature of this world daily. I love beards.
