I began growing my beard a few days before Halloween last year and planned to grow it until Christmas as a joke, then shave it off. Once I began growing my full beard, the positive reactions from friends, family, and complete strangers were so intense that by the time Christmas rolled around I couldn't bring myself to shave. Now, it is very much a part of me. I never plan to shave it completely off.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard. My only regret is not growing it sooner!
