Why did I grow my beard? I'm a man and it's what men do. Now that I'm free to grow it as long as it'll go, that's my goal. It is the most liberating thing I've ever done in my life

How do I feel about my beard? It has changed my life for the better. People approach me differently I find and are more respectful, conversational and friendly for some reason. I've had men pull over as I was walking down the street, roll down the window and and say "DUDE!", rub their face, and give me thumbs up. I love it. I love how people respond to me. Not a day goes by that at least three-to-four men or women compliment me on it. I hope to NEVER SHAVE again!
