I have been growing a beard every winter since I was in my twenties. This year I waited until February 2011 to start my winter look. I found this website in mid-March and people's comments encouraged me to grow a fuller beard this time, which I have never done before. These pics show a trimmed beard after eight weeks.

How do I feel about my beard? Considering I am Chinese-Mexican, this beard is as full as it can get. Interestingly, my dad was from China so the beard I inherited is from him rather than from my Mexican side. He never grew a beard but, as a child, I remember him with a three-day stubble that could have developed into a pattern pretty much like mine. I wish it were fuller on my cheeks, but I am happy with what I've got.
