Tyler
Bearded since: 2010. I am an occasional or seasonal beard grower.

Comments:
I grew my beard because beard growing rocks. I usually grow a beard, then shave it and repeat the process throughout the year. I'm only two weeks into my next beard, however. I think beards are unique and get a lot of respect and admiration. When done right, they're also bold and stand out.

How do I feel about my beard? When I have one, I like my beard a lot. It's a blonde beard that gets a little red further down. You don't see too many blondies with beards. I've never quite had the opportunity to show off this picture and thought I'd share.

Story: I grew a beard and went to Mammoth Mountain for skiing, in that order. Blizzard-like conditions joined us for the second day of skiing. They quickly shut down the lifts on half the mountain. We stayed near one side that remained open and my beard began to ice. It took about three to four hours for it to be fully iced. We walked into the lodge that was about halfway up the mountain, the music practically stopped and I got a lot of stares. A nice gentleman at the bar bought me a shot of whiskey.
