I grew my beard because i fear aging. I thought if I grew a beard in my twenties, I could then whip it off aged thirty and rediscover my youth. I am now approaching twenty-eight and the notion that I might remove it is abhorrent and will never be allowed.

How do I feel about my beard? Incredibly protective. I once shaved a bit of it off by mistake when I was drunk and hadn't put the guard on my trimmer. I had to take the whole thing off. I felt AWFUL. I grew it back post-haste and it's stayed in position ever since. I love my beard. And it loves me.
