Bearded since: 2008. I am an experimental beard grower.

I grew my beard because it mainly comes down to a necessity to prove one's manliness. The second reason was to see if I could, which I think I can, except for the part of my chin, which refuses to partake.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it; as opposed to the hair on my head, it is full and thick. The random ginger and gray hairs baffle me, except that I think the character of a beard comes through from its own diversity in how it develops.
