I grew my beard because I'd always wanted one. My grandfather has sported some amazing facial hair over the years. When I first tried, my girlfriend said I wasn't allowed. As soon as she was gone, I went for it.

I feel that it is the duty of every man who can to grow a beard

How do I feel about my beard? I love having it. It's just a shame my sides are too patchy to warrant growing it though.
