I have always had the urge to grow my beard but either people, jobs, or even family got me to shave it off. I'm now in a job where I can do what I want and have more of a focus on growing it now that I ever did! Also, being Scottish I was influenced by big Hamish out of Braveheart! Haha!

How do I feel about my beard? I like it. At times I struggle as to whether I should keep it or not. If it weren't for a weak mustache I'd grow it for years. Also, I have a bit of a birth mark on my right cheek which I think affects (on that side) how high my cheek-line growth is. All in all, I'm happy with it for the moment. Just waiting on the mustache to catch up! :)
