I grew my beard because I've always appreciated the hirsute look and even admired men who have the courage to grow a full beard... There's something fundamentally masculine and strong about the look and I wondered whether actually having one would affect the way I feel about myself and how I act in the world. Could it be that profound??

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. It's almost like I've gone out and bought a puppy. My beard is developing his own character!! I do feel more whole as a man, and for the first time, fully grown up, as strange as that may seem. I'm still experimenting with the shape and style, but I think a full beard is definately the way forward for me. The experiment continues...
