I grew my beard because I always wanted to grow a beard since I was young. When I left school, I grew it intermittently but always shaved it off for one reason or another. In 1994, when on holiday, I decided to grow it permanently and have never shaved it off since.

I love my beard. It gives me a masculine feeling. I like the way my face feels and I love twisting the hairs when relaxing. I wish it were a bit thicker and now I am not happy about the grey which is starting to show.
