Bearded since: 1979. I am (mainly) a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

Comments:
I've always loved beards, and I grew my first one when I was 17. (I'm still surprised my parents were OK with it.) Like a lot of guys, I've experimented with other types of facial hair, but in the past 5-6 years, I've simply had a full, trimmed beard. I work a lot in Asia, so every now and then I have to shave when I spend long periods of time there, but the moment I can stop shaving again, I do.

I always wish it was a bit thicker, not so happy the grey comes in in clumps instead of overall. Of course I'd love it to be a bit longer. But in general, I couldn't imagine myself without a beard.
