Why did I grow my beard? It started out of laziness. When my daughter was born, I wanted to spend as much time with her that I could and not in the bathroom keeping my goatee trimmed. Then after five years of growing, I couldn't imagine my life without it. I have purposefully either, not applied, or turned down a job, because I would have had to shave it completely off. I don't mind having to trim it down for a job, but it will NEVER come off.

How do I feel about my beard? Most days, I really like my beard. There are other days, where I just can't do a thing with it. I believe that men should have the option to call in from work for having a bad beard day, just like women do with their hair. Equality for the sexes, right? I like the length it is right now, but I am going to continue to let it grow til the wife says stop...LOL.
