Why did I grow my beard? A bald head needs a bit of strength. So a goatee was a logical starter. Over the years my beard has had all shapes and forms. Since February 2012 I wanted to see how a bigger beard would progress...famous last words, because now the beard has taken over my life as a body snatcher.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. It feels like a soft cashmere shawl. For my work, it should always be in shape. I use a baby oil every morning on my towel-dried beard after my shower (scented the oil with a tiny bit of amber- and orange blossom-oil) to keep it healthy and shiny. I am quite a strong person, but I have to admit the beard gives me even more personality and it definitely boosted up my social life because of the huge amount of reactions. It's like having a cute little dog walking next to you.
