Why did I grow my beard? I've been wanting to grow a beard for a long time. But the wife was completely against it. I started to grow one December of 2012 and explained to her it was just an experiment and that I would cut it off next haircut. I think she finally got used to it. So I kept it! I received many compliments on my beard from family and friends, even my barber said it looked very nice.

How do I feel about my beard? I'm very satisfied with my beard and glad I decided to give it a shot. On May 16, 2013 I decided to trim it back some for the warmer weather. Right now it is just a chin curtain/Amish style (no 'stache) and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I may go straight mutton chops for the summer until fall and start growing my full beard again!
