I grew my beard because I went to Catholic school where I had to shave every day. Then I switched to public school and used that opportunity to grow my beard and haven't cut it since, other than to trim it and level the ends.

How do I feel about my beard? My beard will never be cut unless my health depends on it. It has been through three long-term relationships and about five years of a nagging mother.
