Sergio R.
Bearded since: 2011. I am an occasional or seasonal beard grower.

Comments:
I could grow a beard at age sixteen, being a freshman in high school. I guess I never really grew it because I was self conscious of how I looked before it was thick and full. Funny story though, I finally decided to fully grow it out to try and impress a girl that was into beards. Well nothing ever happened, but doing that made me fall in love with having a full beard. After realizing I am capable of growing a full beard, I simply had to.

How do I feel about my beard? I feel much more mature. My beard helps define who I am. When I look at myself clean shaven I think, "man, I look so normal". Having black hair, I love how my beard turns to a shade of dark brown, with few random red and blonde hairs here and there. I regret not growing it out earlier in my life. But now that I have, it's definitely staying...the thicker, the better. Every day it just gets better and better.
I love how even and thick it is. It lets me express who i truly am.

I love it. I feel naked without it. I never liked how it looked at two weeks into it, before it was thick and full. But now that I've gone through with it, I really enjoy having it.
