I have always wanted a beard, but the wife wasn't having it. I also had trouble getting past the itchy stage, so I always just cut it off. On Nov first I finally decided to go for it and two friends and I made a bet to give us an excuse to grow them and to keep our wives off our back. We weren't allowed to trim or do anything to them, except keep them clean of course. One of my friends gave in when his girlfriend started holding out on him. We still give him a hard time about that. As of January 12th, it is still my friend Matt and I. Today we did make a change to the bet. We agreed that we would allow the neck to be trimmed (it was getting way out of control) but only the neck. I rushed home and trimmed my neck and took the picture that I'm attaching.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it now. I just need to find a good 'stache wax to get the mustache under control and out of my mouth.
