I grew my beard because I love the natural texture of my beard and think that if one is able to grow one, he should. I also, like most of you, do not like to shave. I am a permanent beard grower and because of a crisis in my life, I felt a need to shave it off. These are the first pictures I took of myself at eight weeks of growth. When my sides fill in, and I can get someone to take really nice pictures I will submit new ones. I also want to allow my beard to grow much longer. Beards.org has been an inspiration to me, especially when something negative happens in my life and I get that urge to shave by beard off.

Every person that submits pictures should be congratulated. Each and every one of you, whether you are able to grow a full beard or only a patch should show it off. Don't let others influence your decision. It's your face and your personality. I get both positive and negative feedback.

How do I feel about my beard? Mostly people say I look younger without the beard. However, as I get older, I feel even more of a desire to keep my beard.
